Hi, my name is Supratman Samsi, I own and operate Adventure Lombok Tour, PT. I was born and grew up in little town of Ampenan the first town in Lombok, also Ampenan was the first harbor on the island, was built by Dutch when they colonized Indonesia. Hanging out on the beach when I was growing up started a life long passion for water activities and anything that involved being outdoors adventure. It took a while but a little over 10 years ago I made a decision to live the dream and work where my passions lay. The idea to build the website is coming from a simple question “where’s the hell is Lombok and What we can do and see” from world wide travelers when I met them in Bali or abroad.
Since then I have owned and operated Sembilan Pulau Tour Company and Experience Lombok Tours and Travel. I live in Senggigi Lombok, Indonesia and have been involved in tourism industry for over 10 years. Over the past decade I have lead hundreds of tours and expeditions in Lombok island and Indonesia holiday destinations such Orangutan, Sumatera, Java, Bali, Komodo and trek up to Indonesia Volcanoes.
Currently I have licensed tours and travel agent of PT. Adventure Lombok Tour located in Senggigi Lombok, Indonesia and I am very excited about the potential of Lombok and Indonesia islands. To me, the adventure is only half the story, the other half is the people you share the adventure with.
We believe we offer the best service and the best tours on the island. Our Rinjani treks offer the best camping gear you will find on the island and the most experienced English speaking guides. We knows Lombok like few others, from the famous Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air to the heights of Mt Rinjani and the often underrated and definitely spectacular, south western Gili’s.
In 2009 we started Lombok’s first “Learn to Surf” school primarily based on the beautiful northern Senggigi, of Mangsit beach.
In 2011 we are running a Biking tours to many route of Lombok country side includes the back road route and MTB to give you more adventure activities on Lombok also where you can see the island from other perspective.
In 2014 we started Lombok first “Stand Up Paddle Surf” Lesson and Hire primarily based on awesome Senggigi beach.
